Best Prices for Double Glazing in Gloucestershire

Here at, we have some of the best information on double glazing in Gloucestershire available. Our mission is to find you the most suitable home improvement company whether you live in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol, or anywhere else in the Gloucestershire.

Double glazed windows are a popular choice for homeowners wishing to make their homes more energy efficient. Upgrading your windows from single to double glazed glass improves insulation and can save up to 20% of your home’s heat that would otherwise be lost. As well as reducing your monthly heating bill (potentially up to £165 in a year), UPVC double glazed windows will decrease your carbon footprint, which will benefit the environment. In fact, double glazed windows could help retain up to 680kg of carbon dioxide each year. A further benefit of double glazing is the insulation against outside noise pollution such as traffic, helping to keep your home peaceful.

Our service is to compare prices from local double glazing installers across Gloucestershire, whether you’re looking for a company in Stroud, Cirencester or Tewkesbury. We will then provide you with a selection of quotes allowing you to make an informed decision as to the most suitable company for you. What’s more, our price comparison service is completely free, and every company we work with has been fully checked and vetted by us – so what are you waiting for?

The Latest News on Double Glazing in Gloucestershire

Tewkesbury Borough Council has announced it will cut the budget for its headquarters’ revamp to £1.38 million. This is around half of the £2.6 million the council had originally budgeted to spend, following claims that it was too costly. The budget will be spent on modernising the council’s base in Gloucester Road over the next three years. Between now and 2015, the building’s leaky roof will be repaired and double glazing will be installed, to help make the building more energy efficient and save money in the long term.

Meanwhile, plans for Cheltenham’s first zero-carbon home have been given the go-ahead by the Borough Council. The house will be built in Sydenham Villas Road, and is thought to be the first of its kind. The contemporary looking property will generate all of its power using solar energy and will be highly insulated, using features such as wall insulation and UPVC Windows to improve efficiency. The designers of the bungalow are confident that it will produce no carbon emissions and the owners will have no gas or electricity bills to pay.
