Solar Panel Installers South West
Solar PV is the way forward if you want to save on domestic energy costs, this is because the price of conventional energy continues to rise and it doesn’t look as if it’s going to fall again just yet.
However there is another advantage to be gained by installing solar PV and that is due to the fall in the price of solar PV equipment over the last few years, which means that you can still make a decent return on your investment thanks to the government’s Feed-in Tariff Scheme (FiTS).
Here’s where Compare My Local can really help you, we compare prices and services across the region and so help you to find the installer that’s right for you. All our installers are MCS accredited, fully vetted, reliable and trusted, and that means you get a really good service.
Oh by the way our comparison service is totally free, so you don’t have to pay a penny.
Solar PV in the South West
The big news in the South West of late is the massive solar farm to be built in Devon. It will be the UK’s largest such installation and will provide enough power to supply 2500 homes. One of the leading towns for solar PV installation in terms of enthusiasm at least is, unsurprisingly, Glastonbury, as there is a real positive attitude towards solar in the town.
Yet there is plenty going on elsewhere as well. South Somerset District Council is one South West local authority to have installed solar PV on its office buildings and in North Somerset, Clevedon Town Football Club has installed solar on its Hadium Stadium.
Elsewhere in the South West there is a large solar farm just outside Swindon and Urban Energy have just built a showroom outside Salisbury. There is plenty going on in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Hampshire too.
